Meadow Skincare Hydration Boost Moisturising Face Balm Review

A natural face balm for all skin types?  That's too good to be true, right?  Nope!  Meadow Skincare has created a hydrating, nourishing, vegan friendly face balm that boosts the skin and senses.  Better yet, you can get an exclusive discount code for this skincare wonder this month!

The Brand: Meadow Skincare

Founded by two fierce and fabulous friends, Meadow Skincare is a British beauty brand based in Kent, and they are one of my top picks consistently for skincare.  Wendy and Kelly created this waterless brand with the intention of saving busy women precious time, boosting wellbeing, and providing treatments that make a visible difference.  The brand truly embraces a green initiative, choosing to approach formulation with a capsule mindset, sustainable packaging, and pure ingredients - so of course I was hooked from first try!

This ethical beauty brand is not rushing to get out as many products as possible.  Instead, the focus is to have a curated collection that is created with purpose - a capsule range that in no way overwhelms customers, but instead provides a minimalist selection of highly effective treatments.  With Meadow Skincare you won't find thirty serums with minuscule changes made to the base formulas - instead you get eight fabulous multi-taskers that are designed to work for a variety of skin needs.

Another quality that helps set this small business out from the crowd is their packaging.  Meadow Skincare has taken steps to ensure the outer casing matches the quality of what lies within.  The majority of their line is housed in miron glass or wood chip jars, and plastic is kept to an absolute minimum.  So when you choose to shop with Meadow Skincare, you are reducing your packaging waste!

And of course everything Meadow Skincare uses in their formulas is natural and vegan friendly.  They use organic ingredients so you know that the earth (nor your skin) is compromised, and the brand opts for waterless formulas to cut out synthetics and to reduce further waste of precious resources.  Everything about Meadow Skincare is mindful, and that's why I have been a fan for so long.

In fact, I love the range and ethos so much I became a brand ambassador last year!  And one of the perks for all you lovelies is exclusive special offers - which just so happens to be all about my absolute favourite product from Meadow Skincare this month!

The Product: Hydration Boost Moisturising Face Balm:

Face balms were not my friend.  I struggled to find one that suited my fussy skin, and most led to break outs pretty much immediately.  I had given up on discovering a formula that complimented me, so imagine my surprise when I applied the Hydration Boost Moisturising Face Balm and it ACTUALLY WORKED - no unwanted spots, no slick skin, no shine.

The Meadow Skincare face balm is definitely rich and super nourishing, but it's not at all overly heavy.  In fact, in sinks in beautifully and feels so natural as it doesn't weigh down the face or leave any residue.  With a balanced blend of mango butter, plant based squalene, and a mix of hemp, rosehip, and sea buckthorn oil, this is a total superstar that moisturizes without clogging pores.  That's a huge deal for me!  Since the Hydration Boost Moisturising Face Balm is free from coconut oil, it is truly suited for all skin types.  Rather than any acne-inducing ingredients, Meadow chose to use alternatives like babassu instead.  I am so excited to find that balms don't have to be a "banned" product for me, and that my skin can handle them and actually thrive with them.  This is a game changer!

"Hydration Boost Moisturising Balm balances oil production and imparts relief to dehydrated and ultra sensitive skin. Rich in sea buckthorn seed oil which has 30 times more vitamin C content than an orange, the plant seed oil blend is excellent at firming and hydrating skin, reduce pigmentation whilst protecting against environmental aggressors."

Meadow Skincare's balm lasts ages and goes such a long way - I found taking the tiniest amount (just skimming across the top really) and melting it in between my fingertips works a dream.  Then I apply as I would a facial oil, massaging it in and breathing in the gorgeous aroma for a moment of cheery peace.  It's such a soothing experience, and the uplifting aroma ensures you get a much needed moment of me time.  The mix of calming lavender and soft but zesty notes is just what everyone needs, and I love closing my eyes and just letting the scent wash over me.  Anyone else adore green goodies that double as aromatherapy treatments??

This golden face balm is full bodied to start with, but when warmed it transforms into a magical mix of lightweight and intensively nurturing.  The Hydration Boost Moisturising Face Balm offers an effective protective barrier, and you can see the results almost instantly.  Seriously, my skin is so soft and healthy looking after I massage it in!  Meadow Skincare has crafted a formula that gives an instant lift - the lush nectar makes me look bright and glowy even when I was feeling super tired and haven't seen the light of day for ages.  It adds a natural radiance, smooths and plumps the face, tackles pigmentation, and offers a gentle healing touch that minimizes redness and irritation.  What's not to love??

I've also found this vegan face balm is a great multi-tasker, making it perfect for travel or on the go.  I can use a small amount to combat frizzy hair or add a smooth and healthy shine, use as a cuticle treatment, tackle dry spots that need TLC, or use as a lip balm in a pinch.  Meadow Skincare also share that this works great as a makeup primer!  Now that's some special skincare.

Final Thoughts on the Hydration Boost Moisturising Face Balm:

Meadow Skincare has developed a product that has consistently remained a staple in my skincare routine, and they showed me that not all face balms are created equal. The Hydration Boost Moisturising Face Balm served as a gateway balm of sorts, and for that reason it will always hold a special place on my beauty shelf.

I adore the multi-purpose qualities, the potent natural ingredients, the real results, and the aromatherapeutic benefits of this product. It just makes my skin feel and look so lovely, and I don't think I will ever stop enjoying the silky soft texture, gorgeous golden glow, and moreish scent. And that's why I am so thrilled to share this month's special offer!
