Holiday Essential Oils: 6 More Winter Diffuser Blends

Time to break out the essential oils and create some natural holiday diffuser blends because while Christmas may be over, the festive spirit lives on!

Last year I shared ten essential oil blends with major holiday vibes, and I'm bringing back the DIY fun with even more winter fragrances you can try out this season.  I'm all for mixing up my own creations, so I figured why not share them with all of you lovelies so you can get your homes smelling nice and festive too!  I mean, aromatherapy is great boost after all, and we all could do with some extra positivity as we move into the new year.

Natural and Organic Essential Oils

I'll be using some of my favourite natural and organic essential oil brands for these recipes, but feel free to grab whatever you have on hand if you are not able to pick these specific bottles up for yourself anytime soon.  That being said, I do really recommend opting for high quality, trusted, pure extracts, resins, and oils - not only are they often more sustainable, but they provide the chemical compounds of the plant, offer the best scent profile, and do not contain any additives.

As I've said before, you don't have to pay an arm and a leg for great essential oils, but as Jessica Chia writes, "while high cost doesn’t signify high quality, it’s smart to be wary of an essential oil with a super-low price tag. Essential oils are almost inevitably pricey: It can take a roomful of plant material to fill just one bottle of essential oil, and if the botanical is scarce, it further drives up cost."

My go to essential oil brands are Soil, Tisserand, Balm Balm, and Pure Anada as I find they have an ethos aligned with my own, the price point is right for me, and the quality is brilliant.  Plus, between them all I have managed to find every natural essential oil I have needed for my festive home fragrance blends.

DIY Winter Diffuser Blends

Today's six holiday inspired essential oil blends are perfect for winter, but what's even better?  Well, you can use them for your diffuser or oil burner, or if you are more experienced with formulating you could even increase the quantities so you can play around with making candles, skincare, or perfumes!  And don't worry if you don't have the specific product mentioned (like Blood Orange or Black Spruce) - you can choose the closest match and you will still end up with a gorgeous aroma.  Time to get creative!
