Vegamour Vegan Haircare Review

Want to help your hair health but can't find vegan products that really work?  Vegamour has got your back.  This vegan friendly haircare brand offers shampoo, conditioner, biotin gummies, massagers, and more!

Vegamour vegan haircare with Gro Biotin Gummies and Scalp Massager

I've talked before about how my hair health declined and was causing me issues...  My long locks went from full and lush to thinning and brittle due to stress, and even though I have managed to get it in much better shape, it's still no where near as strong as it used to be.  It still falls out more than it should and it remains sadly thin...

That's why I was thrilled when Vegamour reached out to me asking if I would be interested in testing out their vegan haircare range.  If something could transform my hair, I was ready for it!

About Vegamour:

Vegamour is a vegan friendly beauty brand that specializes in hair.  Brows, lashes, and your long precious locks -- they take care of it all!

This ethical beauty brand uses bioactive ingredients to promote healthy, beautiful hair.  They believe people should not have to compromise when it comes to haircare, and so they created a range of vegan treatments that are free from synthetic hormones and fragrances.  Vegamour refuses to use potentially toxic ingredients like parabens and silicones, and instead opts to utilize sustainably harvested, organic plant actives in their formulations.

Vegamour also prides themselves on basing their vegan haircare treatments very solidly in science.  They have thoroughly investigated the causes of hair loss and other major hair concerns, and used these findings to create highly effective products.

They say: "use of hair products containing synthetic chemicals, fragrances and silicones can damage & dehydrate hair while blocking pores, irritating the scalp and inhibiting healthy sebum production. Environmental pollution can also cause growth signals to weaken over time."

This led them to develop treatments that are more natural, packed full of beneficial ingredients, and kind to both your skin and the planet.  And I will be sharing my thoughts on two of these products today!

Vegamour Vegan Hair Products:

Vegamour offer a huge selection of vegan haircare products.  They have created shampoos, conditioners, serums, masks, supplements, and accessories, all of which are carefully crafted to boost your hair's health.

Unfortunately, a handful of their formulations contain phenoxyethonal, so I was not able to test out these treatments since this ingredient is something I react to (especially on my scalp and face).  However, I was thrilled to see there were still products I would be able to benefit from.  I decided to test out two in particular: the Gro Scalp Revitalizing Massager and the Gro Biotin Gummies.  Both are meant to stimulate hair growth and support healthy looking hair, so they are the perfect picks for my current concerns.

Vegamour Gro Scalp Revitalizing Massager

"Give your scalp the love and care it deserves! The GRO Scalp Revitalizing Massager features a series of bristles that stimulate the scalp and boost scalp health, providing both an exhilarating scalp massage and relaxing experience."

The scalp massager from Vegamour is super cute, with a pretty pastel pink colour and rose gold accents that make it look really luxurious.  The bristles are a soft but firm silicone and the body is a durable plastic.  While I typically avoid plastic in my beauty routine I don't mind if the product is intended to be used over and over again.  This has been built to last, so it will be in my care for many years to come.

I really like the handle of the Gro Scalp Revitalizing Massager, as it functions both as an easy to hold grip as well as a clip so you can fasten the massager to a shelf if you want to.  I found this really clever, especially since the massager was designed to be used with either wet or dry hair.  This makes it so simple to dry, and I can hang it up where it is easy to remember to use on a regular basis.

The bristles make for a gentle but deep massage, and it's perfect for easing tension during stressful times.  However, the way I have been using this most is in the shower.  It is great for getting a thorough scalp cleanse if you massage in your shampoo, and it never tangles my hair in the process.  The Gro Scalp Revitalizing Massager works up a good lather, stimulates circulation, and deeply cleans your head so your hair can grow even more efficiently.  And it's so so easy to use!

Vegamour Gro Biotin Gummies

"GRO Biotin Gummies feature a proprietary combination of vitamins and minerals that help beautify strands, nourish the scalp and support healthy looking hair. These delicious vegan biotin hair gummies contain biotin and folic acid as well as vitamins B-5, 6 and 12 to help support your body’s production of keratin and collagen. Vitamins A, C and E work to neutralize follicle-damaging free radicals while zinc helps to promote and maintain scalp health."

Biotin is associated with strong and healthy hair and nails, and using a supplement can be a good step towards boosting the health of your long locks.  I have tried biotin supplements before.  In fact, my regular multi-vitamin contains a good dose of biotin, so it's something I have been regularly incorporating into my routine for a few years now.  So how is Vegamour different, and do they stand out from the crowd?

Well, for starters, Vegamour doesn't use artificial flavours or sweeteners in their supplements.  The gummies get their delicious taste (yes, they are indeed delicious!) from natural and organic sources, and the strawberry flavour of the Gro Biotin Gummies is seriously something you will look forward to.

Vegamour also offers vegan friendly gummies which are not so easy to come by.  There is no gelatin in these supplements, and they are totally free from animal products.  Not only that, but they have a really great texture to them.  They are not hard and crumbly, nor are they too soft and squishy.  They have the perfect bounce to them, and it's almost like eating a sweet.  Paired with the moreish flavour, it makes for a winning combination.

The stand out quality for me though has to be the fact that you only need to take one per day.  So many gummy vitamins require you to eat two, and while this isn't a big deal, it does stick out.  I feel like Vegamour has perfected this product and put a ton of care into making sure that the Gro Biotin Gummies are efficient and effective.

While the Gro Biotin Gummies from Vegamour are not an instant fix, they can help make a difference over time.  It takes at least three months to see results, so this isn't a one and done deal, but if you keep it up the supplement can contribute to fuller looking, shiny, replenished hair.  Plus, biotin is shown to support your immune system and plays a role in converting food to energy.  Isn't that worth waiting a bit for??

Vegamour Vegan Haircare Review Conclusion

I have really been impressed by Vegamour and their vegan haircare treatments, so much so that I have already picked up another jar of their Gro Biotin Gummies.  I can't wait to see long term results with these, and since they contain a good mix of other vitamins and minerals, I am happy to switch out my previous multi-vitamin with these for the time being.

In fact, I'm even tempted to just set up a subscription full stop.  Vegamour make it easy to never go without your favourite products from their ethical beauty range, and you can subscribe to have your must haves sent straight to your door every month.  Plus, you save a fair bit by doing so.

Since I'm based in the UK, I was a little worried about getting my Vegamour fix on a regular basis, but I was excited to see that if I ever wanted to order from a separate retailer I could easily do this.  Sephora and FeelUnique both stock their products, so it's never going to be hard restocking in England!

I'm more than pleased with my experience of this vegan beauty brand, and I will definitely be trying some more Vegamour products in future.  I'm super tempted by the Gro Hair Serum as it has rave results, but I want to hear your thoughts.  If you've tried Vegamour before, what are your recommendations?  Let me know! xx
