Summer Vibes with Lena Wild - Harmony Bloom Oil Review

Harmony, sunshine, happiness - all capture the delights of Lena Wild and their beautiful Bloom Oil.

Origins of Beauty Lena Wild Harmony Bloom Oil Review

You may remember I have talked about the lovely Origins of Beauty before - they made it into my top eco retailers for Christmas shopping last year, and they're on my permanent favourites here on The ecoLogical.  This retailer provides an easy to navigate space full of guilt free ranges.  From natural and organic to vegan and halal, you'll find there is something for everyone here.  And everything is free from common nasties, including "harmful ingredients, chemicals, animal derivatives, alcohol, parabens, SLS, GMOs, nano particles, formaldehyde, mineral oils, fillers, synthetic fragrances and preservatives products."

I adore their founder, Gayathrie, who is such a kind soul and hard working businesswoman, and the selection featured on the online shop is fantastic, spanning more budget friendly brands alongside luxury beauty and wellbeing products.  One of those gorgeous eco-luxe brands is Lena Wild.

Previously known as Wild Beauty Apothecary, the London based brand was founded by Yelena (another kind spirit) and Dany in 2017 and has been making waves ever since.  Centered around the belief that nature and beauty "should be within everyone’s heart, mind and home," Lena Wild strives to utilize carefully selected ingredients in an effort to encourage moments of selfcare through skincare.  With aromatherapeutic qualities, skin and planet friendly extracts and oils, and lots of love, the formulations are expertly crafted and intentionally designed so you can place full confidence in this beautiful capsule collection.

When I was asked if I wanted to review an item from Lena Wild for Origins of Beauty, I was thrilled.  Not only is this award winning brand one that has been on my wishlist for a long while, it is one I have only ever heard positive remarks about and I couldn't wait to try it out for myself.

Origins of Beauty Lena Wild Harmony Bloom Oil Review

The parcel arrived safe and sound as usual, with the wonderful little personal touches and eco packaging that I have come to expect from Origins of Beauty.  No excess cardboard, no plastics, just a well cushioned box in which your products are snuggled waiting for you to open them and welcome them into your routine.

My first impressions of the Harmony Bloom Oil were overwhelmingly positive.  Everything about this facial oil make it stand out as something special - the 100% cotton outer box which is a byproduct of the fashion industry; the glass bottle with its squared off edges and clean, modern design; the white half size label that presents the bold but handcrafted style of the brand, crisp and fresh when paired on top of the golden liquid within...  The contrasts are so striking, and makes for such a memorable first glance!

And it doesn't end there.  Lena Wild's Bloom Oil is the epitome of the season.  When I think of summer, I think of golden sunshine, warm evenings slow and sweet like honey, the smell of open meadows heady with heat, and blissful moments that trickle by quietly day by day.

And somehow this 100% natural and eco friendly oil has captured the spirit of my favourite months, sparking joy in a formula that elicits harmony and happiness.  This vegan friendly creation caught my interest from moment one, and the love grew from the very first drop.

Origins of Beauty Lena Wild Harmony Bloom Oil Review

"Harmony Bloom Oil is a harmonising blend of organically grown plant oils and CO2-extracted Nordic berries. Sea Buckthorn, Cranberry and Blackcurrant help smooth the complexion and restore balance. This lightweight, nutrient-rich formula leaves skin feeling soft, supple and helps promote its true radiance."

This facial product is surprisingly gentle for something so vivid and rich looking as this. Incredibly nourishing, but not heavy in the least, Lena Wild's vegan friendly oil is a lightweight powerhouse ready to take on all of your skin's needs.  Even my fussy skin has welcomed Harmony, as it does not clog pores or leave me with unwanted breakouts.  I was a little worried my semi-sensitive skin would prove reactive, but I was pleasantly surprised that despite the various essential oils within this golden nectar the formula didn't cause any redness or sensitivity.  I could apply directly to my skin, massage slowly into my forehead and cheeks, and it just glides across and leaves everything soft and glowing.

I'm finding the Harmony Bloom Oil fab for my summer skincare routine - it's delicate in smell and feel, like a comforting hug, and absorbs fully so it doesn't leave any greasy residue.  Day or night, this oil is such a delight to use.  Plus, it helps my skin look totally refreshed and radiant when I wake up the next morning!

Seriously, get ready to skip the vitamin C serum as Lena Wild's oil is a magic all in one potion.  I'm finding it balancing, rejuvenating, and moisturizing, and it has evened out my complexion while also reducing blemishes.  Plus my skin always looks and feels so soft after application.  Is there anything Harmony can't do??

One of my favourite things about this oil is the scent, so be sure to really take your time when incorporating the Bloom oil into your routine.  You will want to indulge in every moment, slowly breathing in the excess oils, letting the beneficial botanicals and plant extracts work their magic on both your skin and your spirit.  Just close your eyes and let the aromatherapeutic formula wash over you, and it will work to calm your nerves, relieve tension, and uplift your mood, leaving you with a sense of peace even after a hectic day.  And that's part of Lena Wild's beauty - it shows you the healing potential of nature and brings that sense of wonder into your home.  You can have your own little piece of apothecary magic every day you use Harmony!
